Movie Theaters Offering Tickets For As Low As $1 This Summer

Parents looking for a fun way to get out of the house with the kids this summer and not break the bank may be able to turn to their local movie theater for a solution.

Regal Cinemas, AMC Theatres, and Cinemark are offering movie tickets for as low as $1 for families this summer.

AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, and Cinemark have announced programs offering reduced movie ticket prices for some kids' movies and snacks all summer. 

Regal Cinemas

Regal Cinemas will offer $1 movie tickets for special screenings at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through Aug. 7. 

The movies include "Despicable Me 3," "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," "PAW Patrol: The Movie," and several others. Click here for a full list of films and when they will be shown. 

The chain also offers a $5 Snack Pack, which includes a junior-sized drink, snack-sized popcorn, and fruit snacks.

AMC Theatres

AMC Theatres will sell $3 movie tickets every Monday and Wednesday from June 24 through Aug. 14. The chain will show Illumination movies as part of its "Summer Movie Camp" promotion. 

Those films include "Minions: The Rise of Gru," "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," Sing" and "Sing 2," and several others.

Cinemark

The Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse sells tickets for $1.75 for select screenings Monday through Thursday until Aug. 15. 

The chain will feature a new film each week. The next screening will be "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" beginning on Monday, June 17. "Shrek" will follow the week after.

There are also $1 discounts on kids' snack packs and any size popcorn and drink combos during the showings.
